JVA membership is open to individuals currently playing on a division 1 team in the Juneau Parks and Recreation adult volleyball program, or who have the permission of the JVA board. Membership dues are $50 annually and are collected during January and February of each year. JVA membership allows the individual to participate in the weekly JVA open gym, and to receive discounted fees for other JVA sponsored events. Monies collected are used to fund the ongoing activities of the Juneau Volleyball Association, and to provide support for youth volleyball programs in our area.

High School students who are members of the Juneau-Douglas High School Girl's Volleyball team or the Juneau Boy's Volleyball Club programs are exempted from payment of annual dues.
